Pumpkin Patch

He's a few cute pictures from the pumpkin patch.

Mountains in Kansas?

Alex said, "Mom see, we do have mountain in Kansas City, Dad made us one." Then he laughed so hard he fell over. Fall has been beautiful here, although a lot of work. The leaves are nice, raking up the leaves, not so nice. Below is a view looking up our street from our house.

Halloween

Halloween was a blast. We had three weeks of fun visiting pumpkin patches, going to fall fest at World of Fun, trick or treating at Boo at the Zoo, then all the festivities on Oct 31. The kids were Star Wars characters (big surprise). Alex was Captain Rex, Luke was Anakin, Erik was baby Anakin, and John was bad Anakin (a.k.a. Darth Vader). We went trick or treating first in a place called Brookside. It is a quaint area with a bunch of cool shop. Erik had his Darth Vader helmet candy holder and would run from store to store looking for candy, it was sooo cute.

Renaissance Festival

The renaissance festival was really cool. It was set in these hilly woods with a huge village. Lots of the visitors dress up and the kids had a blast. Alex and Luke were knighted by the King!

Luke turns 4!

Luke got to enjoy a week of celebration for his birthday. He first had his Star Wars party, then went to the Rainforest Cafe for his birthday dinner, then went to Chuck E. Cheese with his Aunt Jonna and Uncle Tom. He's had a major grow spurt and decided to skip size 4 clothes. I can't believe he's taller than Alex was at this age! I'm only posting one picture since the rest are almost the same as Alex's party.

Yes, We really do have 2 other kids!

Ok, so I got on a roll with everything that's been going on with Alex. Luke and Erik are doing great and having fun. Luke just started preschool and is loving it. Erik tries to do everything that his brothers do and has no fear.

Alex plays Soccer

Alex started soccer at the beginning of September. He's number 7. It's been fun but I think the kids like going more for the snacks than the game. Oh well, we get a good laugh out of it.

Alex T-Ball

This summer Alex played "T-Ball." He had a great time!

Alex's first day of Kindergarten

Alex's loves school. He has made of a lot of friends (everyone in the class).

Alex turns 6! (part 1)

Alex didn't have a birthday, he had a birthweek. We had a fun family birthday at my Aunt Kathy's house, then a chucky cheese party with his Aunt Jonna and Uncle Tom, then dinner with just us at the T-Rex cafe, then a "friends" party, and last but not least a trip to Worlds of fun. WOW!
